The Qantas Socceroos clash with Uruguay on Saturday night will be screened by FOX SPORTS on the MAIN EVENT Channel, free of charge to all viewers who subscribe to FOX SPORTS.

All digital subscribers who have the sports tier on FOXTEL or Austar will be able to go to the MAIN EVENT Channel and watch the game, free of charge.

All FOX SPORTS hotels and clubs around Australia will also be given free access to the MAIN EVENT Channel for the coverage, which starts with a one hour Pre-Game Show at 7.00pm leading into the 8.00pm kick off.

The match has been scheduled on MAIN EVENT due to the unusually cluttered sports calendar on Saturday night, which will also see FOX SPORTS broadcast three NRL games, three rugby test matches (including Australia v Wales), two AFL clashes, the French Open and the European Golf Open - all LIVE between the hours of 4.00pm to 11.00pm.

The Australia v Uruguay game is a replay of arguably the greatest night in Australian sports history when the Socceroos qualified for the 2006 World Cup thanks to a gripping penalty shoot out victory at Telstra Stadium in 2005.
