While the battle in Perth rages on, Adelaide United host Melbourne Victory at Marden Sports Complex, both sides having succumbed to maiden defeats last round.

Brisbane Roar head into this Thursday night clash at Dolphin Stadium at the peak of their powers.
The side will feel invincible after ending Melbourne Victory’s unbeaten run to the season in a thrilling 4-3 victory at home.
While Western Sydney Wanderers may appear to be an easier prospect, Dan Barrett’s side may be the fresher of the two having just come off a bye.
The Red and Black have struggled to convert their chances this season, registering three goals in six games.

The last time these two met was in Round 10 of the 2017/18 Season where the Sky Blues got the job done with a 2-0 victory.
And now having come off the back of two consecutive wins, in which they scored 10 goals along the way against Brisbane Roar and Adelaide United, Ante Juric’s side are beginning to hit their straps.
The game at nib Stadium will also be a battle of the Westfield W-League’s two highest-scoring teams. Perth lead the way with 17 goals, but Sydney FC have only scored a goal less.
Perth are now the only unbeaten team in the league, and have a knack of scoring goals when they need to.

Melbourne City’s Westfield Matildas have returned, headlined by Kyah Simon who has two goals in her last two games.
Meanwhile, Canberra United will be hungry for success following a 2-2 draw against Western Sydney Wanderers which they may very well believe they should have won.
