Football fans will be able to follow the Westfield Matildas’ tilt at this year’s Algarve Cup in Portugal thanks to FOX SPORTS.
In fantastic news for supporters, FOX SPORTS has confirmed that they will broadcast the team’s campaign LIVE, EXCLUSIVE and ad-break free during play.
Australia’s golden girls are the hottest team in women’s football right now and head into the Algarve Cup as one of the favourites to take out the tournament.
It all kicks off on March 1 (AEDT), when FOX SPORTS will show the Westfield Matildas opening match against European outfit Norway.
The Norway clash will be broadcast on FOX SPORTS 503.
Australia’s second and third group matches against Portugal (Saturday, March 3 (AEDT) and China PR (Tuesday, March 6 (AEDT) will also be broadcast LIVE and in full.
The Portugal match will be shown on FOX SPORTS 506, while the game against China will be on FOX SPORTS 501.
Coach Alen Stajcic has picked a 22-player squad for the tournament, with the team heading off on Tuesday night.
Star attackers Caitlin Foord and Kyah Simon have unfortunately been ruled out of the tournament through injury.
