Four straight for Aussie striker

Qantas Socceroo striker Joshua Kennedy has made it four games in a row that he has found the back of the net, netting a late equaliser to earn Karlsruhe a 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen.

Kennedy has scored in each of his three appearances for Karlsruhe, since his January signing and sandwiched that with a goal for Australia in the 3-0 win against Qatar.

His Qantas Socceroo strike partner Scott McDonald also was on the scoresheet again, netting Celtic-s second goal in a 3-0 win over Hearts. It was his 18th strike of the Scottish Premier League campaign and puts him well ahead of his nearest rival in the race for Scotland-s top goalscorer.

Meanwhile, Harry Kewell-s arrival onto the ground in the 69th minute sparked a flurry of shots for Liverpool as they tried to forge a lead against Barnsley in the FA Cup. The Australian international had several efforts blocked; saw a rasping drive clip the top of the crossbar and another shot saved by the Barnsley keeper Luke Steele, as the frustration mounted for the Liverpool faithful. A last minute goal by Barnsley saw Liverpool bundled out, continuing the Merseyside-s average season to date.

In other FA Cup ties, David Carney came on as a late replacement for Sheffield United, as they battled to a 0-0 draw with Mark Schwarzer-s Middlesbrough team.
