The Westfield Matildas are back in action tonight as they take on China in the first of a two-match friendly series at AAMI Park.
Here are five reasons not to miss the action!
SUPER SAM
It's been a simply superb year for Australian football's golden girl, Sam Kerr.
A record-breaking season in the NWSL saw her score 17 goals for Sky Blue FC while also finding the net seven times in an Australian shirt.
Her first-half hat-trick against Japan at the Tournament of Nations was one of 2017's most memorable moments.
Sam's a star and every time you get the chance to watch her play, you should take it.
CHINA'S MESSI
Dalian Quanjian forward Wang Shuang has been dubbed 'Lady Messi' by Chinese media and comes with impressive credentials.
Still only 21, she has already played more than 60 times for her country, scoring crucial goals including the winner against USA in 2015.
Westfield Matildas coach Alen Stajcic has described Wang Shuang as "one of the top three or four players in Asia."
INCREASE THE STREAK
The Westfield Matildas have won their last five matches.
In those five games, they've scored 16 goals and conceded just six.
And they've been against good opponents, too - three of those wins have been against Brazil – while the USA and Japan have also been defeated.
Extending that winning streak will be top of mind for Australia tonight.
EXPERIENCE GALORE
While not shy of blooding new talent, Alen Stajcic has gone for experience in his side for these two games.
No fewer than 13 of the squad have over 50 caps with Laura Alleway to join that group the next time she takes the field.
This is a group of players who are totally comfortable at international level and play the type of football that only comes with top-level experience.
A WORTHY OPPONENT
They may be ranked just 13th in the world (Australia are 6th) but China PR have proven to be a tough opponent for Australia.
The Westfield Matildas won the most recent meeting 2-1 at the Algarve Cup in March.
But the previous three clashes have all ended in 1-1 draws.
China aren't easybeats - this will be a true contest.
