Football Federation Australia is expecting a huge number of applications for 2006 FIFA World Cup tickets starting at 9am AEDST tomorrow.   At 9am AEDST today the application form was made available at www.footballaustralia.com.au and by 4pm the form has been downloaded 30,000 times.   From 9am AEDST tomorrow Australian sports fans can send in their application form by email, fax or mail with tickets allocated on a first-in first-served basis.   With around 8,500 tickets being made available tomorrow FFA CEO Mr John O'Neill said that demand would far exceed supply.   "Judging by the amount of people that have accessed the application form we expect that there will be a huge demand come 9am tomorrow when they fans start sending in applications," said Mr O'Neill.   "Our message to the fans out there is to be patient - please don't call and ask if your form has been received or whether you have got tickets."   "Successful applicants will be notified within four business days after an extensive verification process has taken place to check details and remove duplicate applications."   "We said when we announced the details that we expected unprecedented demand and it certainly looks like that will happen."   The FFA strongly advises that due to the expected unprecedented demand that fans use e-mail as a preferred method of application.
