Socceroos WATCH

Several players will possibly be in action tonight in the Champions League.

Zeljko Kalac will again be in opposition to national team coach Guus Hiddink, when AC Milan travels to Eindhoven to play PSV. Kalac though is likely to remain on the bench for the clash, while For PSV Jason Culina is not eligible to play.

Meanwhile Harry Kewell will hopefully be refreshed after missing the weekend-s game and get his chance for Liverpool against Anderlecht at Anfield.

Ljubo Milicevic should get his chance to make a lasting impression on Hiddink, when FC Thun play Ajax on Wednesday night.

WHAT-S MAKING THE NEWS

CULINA SAFETY

Guus Hiddink has revealed why Jason Culina (pictured above) was not used in PSV Eindhoven-s match against Culina-s former club FC Twente Enschede on the weekend. Culina was all set to play, but was withdrawn from the starting line-up at the last minute after fears for his safety.

Culina did not even come off the bench in PSV-s 1-0 win, after Twente fans left threatening phone messages on his mobile phone and placed details of his PSV contract around websites, after being inadvertently placed in the garbage.

Culina starred for Twente last season and fans were incensed by his departure to PSV and apparent lack of respect for his former club after Twente clothing was also inadvertently placed in the garbage.

Hiddink made Culina sit on the bench for the game, believing the experience will be similar to what Australia will face in Uruguay.
