Australian community celebrates Matildas historic fourth place finish

After the Matildas went down fighting against the United States in the Bronze Medal Match, supporters from all corners of the globe celebrated their historic best-ever Olympic placing.

Goals from captain Sam Kerr, Caitlin Foord and Emily Gielnik were not enough for the Aussies to overcome the defending world champions to win the bronze medal match.
