Aussies Abroad: Yallop scores as Klepp cruise in Norway

Westfield Matildas midfielder Tameka Yallop has continued her outstanding form for Klepp in Norway’s Toppserien overnight.

Yallop scored her side’s second goal as Klepp brushed aside Fart 4-0 at the Klepp Stadion.

The goal was Yallop’s seventh of the campaign so far from just 16 appearances.

The result has seen her side move into third spot on the ladder, just three points behind Valerenga in second.

Yallop and Klepp are at home in league action again on Sunday (AEST), taking on lowly Trondheims-Orn.

Meanwhile, Emily Gielnik’s Bayern Munich have advanced in the Women’s UEFA Champions League despite losing their second leg 1-0 at home to Swedish outfit Goteborg.

Gielnik watched from the bench as Rebecka Blomqvist’s 81st-minute goal handed the visitors a win on the night but Bayern advance on away goals, following a 2-1 win in Sweden a fortnight ago.

Bayern return to league action this weekend, hosting Duisburg on Sunday morning (AEST).
