Aussies Abroad: Gielnik and Bayern seek to go back-to-back

Emily Gielnik’s Bayern Munich are searching for back-to-back wins in Germany’s Frauen Budesliga when they face Freiburg on Saturday.

Bayern defeated SGS Essen 2-0 last week to record their first win in three matches in Germany’s top flight. 

Thomas Wörle’s side sit in third in the ladder, three points behind Hoffenheim and six points behind Wolfsburg, with two games to go before the winter break.

The match at FC Bayern Campus Platz 1 kicks off at 5.15am AEDT on Saturday, 7 December.
