AAP reports from Germany that Qantas Socceroo striker John Aloisi is almost certain to be at a different club next season, after current Spanish club Osasuna failed to come back with a satisfactory new deal.

Aloisi, who scored four goals at the Confederations Cup, and was the talk of the tournament for his performances against Germany and Argentina, told reporters after the match against Tunisia that he has told his agent to forget about their offer.

It-s rumoured that clubs in Spain, England and Germany are in interested in signing the 29-year-old, although it will not come down to purely and simply money in deciding a new club.

Aloisi said, “They (Osasuna) had time to come up with a good offer and they didn't, so I think they know that they've lost me now.

"My agent's told me what they've said and I've told him forget about it."

Aloisi is desperate to play European football next season, but he also knows that with this likely to be his final overseas contract, it will have to be the right one (contract) both financially and in the best interests of his family.
