AFC Asian Cup Draw

AFC Asian Cup Draw - Live

The Socceroos will be looking to improve on their 2006 World Cup Finals showing in Germany, with the 2007 AFC Asian Cup firmly in their sights.

Having successfully negotiated the qualifying phase as group winners ahead of Bahrain and Kuwait, the finals now await in July 2007. The next step in the process is tonight's draw, being held in Kuala Lumpur, capital of host country Malaysia (one of four host countries).

Australia is one of the top seeded teams, courtesy of its October FIFA ranking and therefore will not meet Iran, Japan and Korea Republic in the group phase. So who will be Australia's group opponents?

We will update this page live as the draw is being made and you can watch the draw live on FoxSports News and Views channel from 11.00pm tonight.

Please note: The groups will appear underneath the participating teams, as the draw is being made.
