The Matildas will play the winner of Japan versus Netherlands on June 27 after they stunned Brazil 1-0 in their Round of 16 clash.

The Matildas had progressed beyond the group stage in 2007 and 2011 and the Socceroos made it to sudden-death in 2006 but all were beaten.
